About the Journal
Innovation in Sustainable Engineering (INSURE) is an international journal aimed at providing a leading platform for publishing cutting-edge research and innovations in the field of sustainable engineering. This journal focuses on the development of technologies, methods, and solutions that support sustainability in sectors such as renewable energy, environmentally friendly materials, efficient system design, and the processing and management of natural resources.
We welcome articles that address the application of sustainability principles in engineering, ranging from basic research to industrial applications. Submissions can cover various engineering disciplines, including but not limited to mechanical engineering, civil engineering, environmental engineering, chemical engineering, and electrical engineering.
Current Issue
Many communities around the world live in disaster-prone areas, particularly in Indonesia, which lies within the Ring of Fire and is vulnerable to earthquakes, tsunamis, and volcanic eruptions. Therefore, it is crucial for infrastructure managers and those responsible to ensure that infrastructure remains in optimal condition and is fully operational. One key factor is a rapid, efficient, and effective infrastructure maintenance strategy. One way to achieve this is through the use of IoT technology capable of monitoring infrastructure conditions in real time and in a measurable manner. Thus, the articles in this volume discuss the automation of infrastructure maintenance for communities resilient to disasters.
