About the Journal

Humanities and Social Inquiry Journal (HUSIJA) is an international, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing critical, theoretical, and empirical scholarship in the humanities and social sciences. The journal provides an academic forum for interdisciplinary inquiry into economic, social, linguistic, and educational phenomena, with particular attention to their interactions within diverse cultural, institutional, and historical contexts.

HSI encourages contributions that move beyond descriptive analysis by offering conceptual innovation, critical interpretation, and evidence-based insights into contemporary and enduring issues affecting human societies. The journal welcomes a wide range of methodological approaches—including qualitative, quantitative, mixed methods, and critical–interpretive frameworks—aimed at deepening scholarly understanding and informing policy, educational practice, and social transformation.

By fostering dialogue across disciplinary boundaries, Humanities and Social Inquiry seeks to bridge theory and practice while promoting inclusive, ethical, and context-sensitive perspectives on human development and social change.
